Emergency rooms have been crazy for years .. I was in a couple of years ago for a heart issue , and I got seen immediately ...however there were people there for hours .. if you are not bleeding or heart issues you are waiting until they prove you have insurance..( obama care or not) . hey if it is not life threating they don't have to see you...
Funny my health plan has a $150 co pay for the emergency room, and both times I went I never paid it .
find out later that the top 10 reasons for the emergency room are things I wouldn't even go to the emergency rooms for ...and probably not even a doctor.. I am sorry if I got a fever,cold or flu I'm not seeing a doctor.. they can't do anything. and that was on the list
Chest pains I understand or I need stitches.. but a fever.. your are wasting peoples time

That being said .. I have gone to the doctor and had him tell me to stop lifting..
I then asked if he wanted me sitting around the house instead... he didn't like that
What about walking ...I asked where to ? he reply just walking ...and I replied like that crazy guy in my neighbor hood that just walks around with no apparent destination? yeah ...sarcasm was never a strong point with my doc..
